A sunny garden to compliment a new extension by Office Sian Architects

The window seat looks out at eye level onto a grassy area and a screen of various grasses including Calamagrostis acutiflora ‘Karl Foerster’, Calamagrostis brachytricha and evergreens Libertia chilensis and Penstemon 'Sour Grapes' . Beyond the screen is a dining area under the canopy of an Elder and a bespoke bench offers a place to rest and dappled shade throughout the summer. A bright pink fence is the perfect backdrop to lush green planting whilst also lighting up the sunken dining room. A woven willow fence offers some gentle privacy to the space.
